This WWII drama tells the story of a racist officer (played by Stephen Boyd) put in charge of a squad of black troops charged with seizing a dam topped with a critical roadway before the Germans can destroy it. <div><br /></div><div>Originally produced as for television with the title<i> Carter's Army</i>, it first aired on the ABC television network's ABC Movie of the Week on January 27, 1970. The film was retitled <i>Black Brigade</i> for later and home video release.</div><div><br /></div><u>UPLOADER COMMENT:</u> This well done TV Movie, starring Richard Pryor, Rosie Greer, Billy Dee Williams, and Stephen Boyd, depicts racist attitudes toward black soldiers in World War Two. Richard Pryor gives a fine performance as does the rest of the cast.
